HOW TO FILE A COMPLAINT - For Recipients of State-Funded services
Sandhills Center wants you to get the help you need in the best and most caring way possible. If you had a bad experience with Sandhills Center or one of our providers, we want to know about it.
If you are a State-Funded services recipient and are not happy with your services, you or a person acting on your behalf can file a complaint. All complaints are reviewed, and Sandhills Center will let you know about the result. You have a right to make a complaint while remaining anonymous. You have a right to appeal the result of a complaint if you choose.
Complaints can be made in person to any Sandhills Center staff member. You can file a complaint at our Administrative Offices, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

You also can make a complaint by completing the form at the bottom of this page. After we get your message, we will contact you to work out the issue to the best of our ability.
COMPLAINT APPEALS
If you are not happy with the results of your complaint, you can file an appeal by phone or mail. Your appeal will be reviewed by staff who were not involved in the original decision.
