Sandhills Center is dedicated to helping you deliver services in accordance with state and federal standards.

Together, our goal is to provide quality care to our NC Medicaid members, State-Funded Services recipients, and their families living in Anson, Davidson, Guilford, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, Richmond, and Rockingham counties.

We are honored to have you join us in helping people with behavioral and physical health needs, traumatic brain injuries, and intellectual/developmental disabilities to get the whole-person care they need to improve the quality of their lives. 

The Sandhills Center Provider Manual offers information that supports efficient and effective management of the NC Medicaid Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan. The manual will help you become familiar with the policies and procedures you are required to follow. Each contracted provider is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures outlined in the Provider Manual. Compliance is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations.

Notice on Provider Updates – Third Party Agents/Vendors  

Sandhills Center is committed to keeping our provider network up to date on the latest topics so that our network has the tools to care for our members. As it is considered standard operational activities of a provider to ensure they update and maintain all pertinent information, it is the responsibility of each provider to ensure this information is received and disseminated to their third-party agents/vendors.

Therefore, requests to include a provider’s third-party agent/vendors on the Provider Update email list will not be accepted.  

Remember to update Sandhills Center whenever an email contact needs to be removed or whenever adding a new contact.
